Big Bird or Grandma?

The National Debt has continued to increase an average of $3.89 billion per day since September 28, 2007! ---- This came to mind when I saw the plans this morning for a Million Muppet March to save federal funding for PBS.

We can't continue going backwards for ever. Tough decisions have to be made and Romney says he will start making those. 

Who is more important to you - Grandma's healthcare or Baby's big bird. I love both but other sources need to be found to fund one or the other. My tax dollars should not be funding big bird.

Staying Young is Process!

Life in America is about the Young Process.  

1.. Try everything twice.
On one woman's tombstone she said she wanted this epitaph: "Tried everything

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.
(Keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches!)

3. Keep learning:
Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever...
Never let the brain get idle. 'An idle mind is the devil's workshop.' And
the devil's name is Alzheimer's!

4. Enjoy the simple things.

5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath. And if you
have a friend who makes you laugh,spend lots and lots of time with HIM/HER.

6... The tears happen: Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person who is
with us our entire life, is ourselves. LIVE while you are alive.

7.. Surround yourself with what you love: whether it's family, pets,
keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever..
Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health:
If it is good, preserve it.
If it is unstable, improve it.
If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9. Don't take guilt trips..
Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county, to a foreign country, but
NOT to where the guilt is.

10.. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.


11.. Forgive now those who made you cry. You might not get a second chance..

Presidential selection

It is my thought today that we do not have a great choice when it comes to voting for President. However, it is obvious that we have a clear choice as to who we should vote for for President.

Today as I woke up I heard the news that we had had an Embassy Ambassador killed over a ridiculous film. What I should have heard in that same news broadcast was that the President had already reacted and that we had met force with obvious force.

What I heard was that the President was deliberating on what the United States next move should be. This is why he is not Presidential material. This is why we have had 4 miserable years of what he calls change. This is why we have to have someone besides the Barack Hussein Obama as President .

It is my humble opinion that anyone who even remotely believes that Barack Obama should be the President again is not playing with a full deck of cards.

Those are my thoughts today.

Heard today that 89% of Americans polled did not think that Barack Hussein Obama was doing a good job of handling America's Economic problems.  - What a news Flash.


What puzzles me is what about the other 11%.  Are they dead or idiots?

You mister President Obama are a prime example of what is wrong with America today. You have already proven that it is more productive for a person to have his hand out for the government to put money in it than it is to have your hand out to put a glove on it and go to work.

I observed you today on television in front of millions of Americans hoisting a glass of alcoholic beverage during the day when you were on the job for the American people. What do you think my employer would say if he saw me a voice hoisting a beer in the middle of the day. Where I work drinking on the job is a an offence that could get me fired.

Yes Mr. president you might call me a prude. Yes Mr President you might call me old fashioned. But Mr President you will not see me drinking on the job. Yes, you Mr Barack  Hussein Obama, President of the United States is what is wrong with America.
