I can promise you, health insurance is a total necessity today, even though it can be expensive itself, it is nothing compared to the astronomical amounts charged by Health care facilities. I personally cannot see where a nonprofit organization for health care can say that they are not making loads of money by the amounts they charge. So far, my bill for the hospital in this case is almost Half a Million dollars, and still growing. So yes, even though insurance can be and is high, it is a small amount to pay, considering what it costs to be in the hospital.
