Homemade Dinner - Mixer Required

We are now approaching my favorite time of the year, Thanksgiving and Christmas. One of the things that makes this time so meaningful is the fact that the goodtimes are surrounded by good food. Anytime Thanksgiving and food are mentioned, the memory of Mom's Turkey and Dressing comes to mind.

How great it would be to go back and watch her put together those great Thanksgiving meals, and you know that it could not have been done with out the use of a mixer.

Just think if she had the use of the Eclectrics® Mixer that is available today. You know the all metal stand Hamilton Beach® Mixer . Wow! That would have been great.

Yes, to watch her mix the cornbread the day before and let it dry out to be just right.

Then the next morning early as she puts the cornbread into a large bowl along with the broth off of the turkey. She would then mix in the sage, the nutmeg, some dried biscuits and put it under the mixer to give it a good spin.

The best part is when she would ask me to give it a taste. Yes that was great but just think, if she had the use of the Hamilton Beach® Stand Mixer how much easier that would have been.

Her old mixer was small and did not have much power, but this mixer has everything it seems. Just look what they say about it.

More Power*
-400 watts of power to mix even the toughest jobs like 9 dozen cookies
or 4 -1lb. loaves of bread

-Professional 2-way rotating head for thorough hands-free mixing

-High-performance electronics ensure constant power
Great Features

-12 settings offer more* mixing flexibility and precise control

-4.5 qt stainless steel locking bowl with handle

-Flat beater, dough book and wire whisk for versatile mixing

-2 piece pouring and splatter shield

Lots of features that the old mixer did not have.

Well, maybe I'll get my wife one of these Hamilton Beach® Mixer for Christmas. Then she can really get into the cooking spirit.
