Life in America is Work
As life goes on and I age to that closer to retirement it seems to be harder each day to motivate my mind to the fact that I am lucky to have an excellent job that pays good and has good benefits.
This morning as I lay there in bed early and dreading the day ahead, I gave myself that little pep talk and a little prayer that said that I am in control of attitude and the next five years of work will go faster and easier if I will have a positive, can do attitude that will make for a great day instead of one that says life sucks.
Anyone out there agree.
That is what life in America is about today.

Painting the House
Life in America today is about painting the house. The rent house that my daughter and son in law live in needs a little fixing up before that grandson comes in June. So the we decided to help out the kids by putting a fresh coat of paint on some of the house that they live in and maybe doing a little cabinet work over to give them some more storage room.
So today is paint day. This means that I have Presidents day off and I am working at the kids house on the computer while the painter paints.
Wait a minute! You surely did not think that I was going to paint. I like to paint as much as I like to have my teeth pulled. However, while they paint I am going to be doing Internet things that make some money so that I can afford to hire the painters.

Working with mom
Thanks for the post, Bernard Vasquez
I have been working with my mom for the longest time to get our finances back on track because it was really important to me that we were in debt forever. I really wanted to dig us out of this hole and make sure we were in a good financial position to send our kids to college once they got to that point… It was totally unacceptable to me to have thousands of dollars in credit card debt at this young of an age. Anyway, my mom helped me with things like Dish Network savings plans and setting a monthly budget we could work with. She also taught me how to save money in the kitchen which as it turns out is where a lot of our waste was going. I think it is important to note that if you are poor like we were you can't buy cheap things because inevitably they will break sooner than nicer things and then you just have to pay to replace them which costs you more money in the long run.

Super Bowl over!
What is next? The Super Bowl is over and according to the numbers, we all watched it.
Did you watch the super bowl. Did you see the finger that was presented in Madonna's halftime show.
What will we do with our time now that it is over. I guess we can sit around and Bradying instead of Tebowing
What do you think.
